Ian is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Testified Quantum Expert with over 20 years of experience, having been involved on projects in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Syria, Kazakhstan and Finland.

Ian has provided expert testimony in ICC arbitration proceedings as well as evidence in ad-hoc arbitration proceedings and supported on multiple high value arbitration, litigation and dispute board cases across aviation, power, real estate, retail, logistics and sports and leisure sectors.

Ian has extensive experience on cases involving termination and cost to complete valuations, varied works, prolongation costs, disruption, defective works and finance costs. Ian combines his strong contract and commercial acumen to quickly unravel complex issues and provide strategic and expert advice on such quantum matters.

Throughout his career Ian has been predominately involved in the commercial management and quantum expert review of mechanical, electrical and specialist communication systems and is well placed to support clients and counsel on disputes of this nature.
