Chris has 35 years’ experience working on projects in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Far East, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East.

Chris is a recognised forensic planner and Delay Expert having testified on a numerous significant cases involving natural resources, infrastructure and building projects. Chris has broad experience and sector specialism in process automation, power distribution, energy and rail projects. Early experience includes project planning in major industrial and transportation projects, holding senior planning positions with a major international Contractor, involving oversight of planning matters on projects, including the preparation and maintenance of programmes for design, procurement, construction and handover, as well as detailed shutdown planning and co-ordination. With this grounding and deep project experience in project planning Chris moved into consultancy specialising in claim resolution and Delay Expert Witness roles, providing forensic planning advice and opinion as Delay Expert on a wide range of cases involving competing parties positions. Chris has been appointed Delay Expert on many high profile cases acting on behalf of international Contractor and Employer organisations, providing significant delay analysis and forensic planning for use in the resolution of claims and disputes involving delay and disruption. He has also testified in litigation and arbitration proceedings in a number of jurisdictions. In addition to Delay Expert and dispute programming appointments Chris has extensive experience in project monitoring and administration as well as programme evaluation, drawing upon years of experience as a Project Programmer and Site Manager. Chris brings insight and know-how with regard to causation, delay and disruption arising in engineering, building and civils planning, pre-site and site construction planning. Chris also presents on contractual programming obligations within various standard forms of contact including FIDIC, JCT and NEC and the application of delay analysis techniques under these standard forms.
