Andrew is a Director of Boultwood + Associates, formerly a Managing Director at Rimkus and CCi, and formerly a Director at Fairway and Turner & Townsend. Andrew has broad sector experience having worked on construction and engineering projects/programmes and disputes in over 30 countries. He has advised on the procurement / commercial management of building, mechanical & electrical services, civil engineering, oil & gas, process, mining and power projects. He also has experience of advising on property damage and professional indemnity insurance claims.

Andrew’s experience as an expert witness in construction and engineering matters includes quantity surveying practice and procedure, measurement, estimating and the valuation of interim and final accounts including change, daywork, prolongation, acceleration, and loss of productivity and suspension / termination claims.

Andrew has been instructed as expert witness (including as single joint expert), in litigation in the UK Technology and Construction Court (TCC), Commercial Court and Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), at Public Inquiry, in domestic (UK & South Africa) and international (ICC, LCIA, SIAC & SCC) arbitration, adjudication and mediation. He has provided expert testimony and been cross-examined in the TCC, at Public Inquiry, and in domestic (UK), ICC, SIAC and LCIA arbitrations. He has been ‘hot-tubbed’ in LCIA & SIAC arbitrations.

Andrew has been nominated as adjudicator and appointed as mediator.
